Itinerary
DAY 0
The Beautiful journey to Meghalaya will Commence from Mumbai. Assemble at LTT railway Station and Meet our Coordinators. Train No. 12519/15945.
Pune people will board train no.22108/22144 & reach Mumbai.
DAY 0
Day 2 will be spent in the train as well with fun games and Interacting with each other.
DAY 1
9:00 AM: Arrive at Guwahati,freshen up at station and have breakfast.
11:00 AM: Pickup from Guwahati Airport.
Drive to the Laitlum Canyons. The name “Laitlum” translates to “End of Hills,” and the views here are absolutely mesmerizing— lush green valleys, cascading waterfalls, and sweeping vistas.
Arrive and check-in at your hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.
DAY 2
Start early with a 2-hour drive to Nongjrong to experience one of the most breathtaking sunrises you’ll ever witness. After soaking in the beauty of the sunrise, drive back to Shillong to rest and recharge.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and take some time to relax. Then, proceed to the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, where you can explore the rich biodiversity and tranquil surroundings of this culturally significant forest.
Afterward, head back to Shillong, reflecting on a day filled with nature’s wonders.
DAY 3
After breakfast, we start our journey to Cherrapunji, with a visit to the Garden of Caves first, where you can explore the fascinating limestone caves and lush surroundings.
Next, head to Wei Sawdong Falls or Lyngksiar Falls, where you’ll be treated to stunning views of cascading water amidst a picturesque landscape.
In the evening, visit the iconic Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, offering a mesmerizing view as the sun sets.
After a day full of natural beauty, check in to your hotel in Cherrapunji for a relaxing evening.
DAY 4
After breakfast, head to Tyrna Village, which serves as the base point for the trek to Nongriat. The trek is an exhilarating experience through thick forest and terrain, but the reward is worth it—when you reach Nongriat, you’ll be greeted by the aweinspiring
Double Decker Living Root Bridges, a marvel of nature.
Spend some time relaxing by the natural water bodies near the bridges before starting your trek back.
After your trek, return to Cherrapunji for an overnight stay at a cozy homestay, where you can unwind and enjoy a warm meal.
DAY 5
We begin with our Famous drive to renowned Mawlynnong “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Explore the Village & Market area We will spot Bangladesh region atop the many viewpoints over here.
Have hot lunch in a local restaurant and proceed to see the Indo- Bangladesh border at Dawki. After that, we head onwards to our Camping location! Right by a river! The adventure just multi-folds as we arrive at this location with avenues for Bonfire, swimming,
and what not.
We plan to sleep on this night cozying up in our tents! Overnight at the campsite (Overnight Homestay/Tent stay in Dawki, Breakfast Included)
NOTE: Camping depends on weather condition.
DAY 6
Start your day early with a serene boating experience on the cleanest river in Asia. For the more adventurous, you can also opt for cliff jumping to add some thrill to your morning.
Next, explore the scenic Phephe Falls, a hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery.
In the evening, we head back to Shillong, often referred to as the “Scotland of the East” due to its rolling hills that resemble the Scottish Highlands. Once in Shillong, take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant Police Bazar, the city’s bustling local market, where you can shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Shillong, with breakfast included.
DAY 7
Early morning Breakfast & Proceed to Guwahati Railway stationand board Train for Return Journey in Mumbai. Guwahati Package people will be dropped at the Guwahati railway station/Airport by 3pm. Train no. 15946

Spend last day enjoying and playing games with the group as we are about to reach Mumbai.

Arrival at Mumbai with Sweet memories and it’s time for farewell.

5) Swimming in the deep water is strictly prohibited, Trekkers United wont be responsible for any loss.

8) Sightseeing of all the places depends on various factors like weather, train delay, vehicle breakdown, punctuality of everyone, peak season rush & we or any of our team member will not be responsible.
9) Mode of Transport like Train/Bus Etc can be changed with change in time & boarding/dropping point depending on the availability/any avoidable circumstance without any prior notice to Participants
10) Management won't be held responsible if you are stuck due to heavy rains, traffic jams, personal emergencies or floods during the event & you miss our bus/train
11) Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Trekking, or any outdoor adventure activity is potentially risky. For all these events, you are at your own risk. Organizers are not responsible for any accident or compensation in whatsoever manner.
12) If Train tickets are in RAC/Waiting, there will be extra charge of 600 - 800/- per person & 90% guarantee of the confirmed Tatkal Tickets.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Before 45 Days - 50% Refund on the Registration amount
45 - 30 Days - No Refund on Registration
30 - 20 Days - 25% Refund on Full Amount
20 - 10 Days - 10% Refund on Full Amount
After 10 Days - No Refund
1. Cancellation charge is applied to the total trip cost, not on any partial or token amounts. E.g. if you paid 10,000 for a 25000 trip, 2 months in advance and decide to cancel a
trip less than 30 days before the trip start date, the cancellation charge will be applied to 25000, not 10,000.
2. Full Payment of the trip cost must be completed 30 before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the cancellation of the trip.
3. None of the amount is transferrable to any other trip or trek & no credit notes will be given.
4. If the Trip is canceled from our end, a Minimal 7% amount will be deducted & for the remaining amount a Credit Note will be provided to use on any other Treks & Trips (Cash refund won't be provided and cancellation due to reasons not in or control like natural calamity, man-made incidents etc or any other reason is not applicable here)
5. In Case of Trip Extension due to Weather or any unforeseen conditions, the individual will have to pay 2500/- Cash Per Day to the Trip Leader on the Spot.
6. The itinerary/Entire location for the Trip/Trek/Event is subject to change due to Weather Conditions or any other reasons & it is Trekkers United’s Decision and not liable for any prior notice to participants. We value everyone’s safety over the Trip. No refund,Credit or transfer to other trip options shall be provided in such a situation.
7. Cancellation of the trip or any location due to reasons out of our control like natural calamities or man-made incidents like strikes and change in state rules won’t be our
responsibility. The participants will be liable to bear the cost of any such incidents.
8. The company vehicle will only be responsible for travel from our stay to the locations and back to our stays. Any travel beyond that will be chargeable if we are managing it for you all.
9. Sightseeing of all the places depends on various factors like weather, train delay, vehicle breakdown, punctuality of everyone, peak season rush & we or any of our team members will not be responsible.
10. If Train tickets are in RAC/Waiting, there will be an extra charge of 600 - 800/- per person & 90% guarantee of the confirmed Tatkal Tickets.
11. Mode of Transport like Train/Bus Etc can be changed depending upon the availability with change in time & boarding/dropping point depending on the availability without any prior notice to Participants.
12. The photos/videos content created on Trekkers United’s trip (by our leaders) is the property of Trekkers United and can only be used by us for advertising across media platforms. None of the digital content can be used by anyone for advertising/commercial use without obtaining the rightful permissions from Trekkers United.
13. The IDs shall all be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without a valid Govt. ID.
14. Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings. The management shall not be responsible for any damage or any missing items along the tour.
15. Our time of departure is fixed and the travelers must depart by the stated time & keep their status updated with the trip coordinator(s). Anyone missing the transport shall not be eligible for any refunds.
16. In case of injury/illness occurring to a participant during the tour, external evacuation/ transport services may need to be engaged to safeguard the health of the participant, In such a case any additional cost arising from making such arrangements will have to be borne by the concerned participant/participant’s family.
17. Only one offer or credit can be used at a time; multiple offers or credits cannot be combined simultaneously.
18. Trekkers United can send back any Participant who is caught doing mischief,misbehaving with other members OR if you’re found doing illegal activity or breaking rules of the trek/trip and no refund or credit will be provided.
19. In any other Scenario other than the above-mentioned, Trekkers United has the sole right to alter/Change/Make Decisions. We Value Everyone’s Safety over other things.
20. Some participants anticipate receiving a voucher/refund if they descend from a trek for any reason. However, we do not provide vouchers in such cases. This situation arises if your trek leader decides to send you back due to reasons such as insufficient fitness, any other health issues, or injuries. It also applies if you are caught drinking, smoking, or violating trek rules, or if you voluntarily decide to quit the trek for personal reasons.
21. If your entire group is compelled to terminate the trek/event after starting the trip for reasons such as sudden bad weather, trail interruptions, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances. Please note that no voucher/refund will be provided in this scenario.
