The Spiti Valley Roadtrip Expedition is a must for any adventure seeker who wants an authentic Spiti Valley view in Winter. We have curated a comfortable 11 Day trip that will include travelling in a durable Tempo Traveler to cover some of the most famous destinations in the valley that will leave you in owe of these beautiful places shrouded in snow!
Itinerary
DAY 1
The beautiful jouney to Himachal will commence from Mumbai. Assemble at Bandra/Vasai railway station and Meet our Co-ordinates. Departure by Train no. 12925/12217/12909
Pune people will travel by Shivshahi bus/Train & then Board the train from Mumbai.
DAY 2
Pickup from Chandigarh by in Afternoon by 2pm through private tempo. It’s time to witness change in scenario and feel snow capped mountains coming near us. Soon we reach Shimla
- Queen of Himachal/Shogi. Check-in at our hotel (Dinner Included).
DAY 3
After B/F, check-out from the Hotel, Today We’ll be passing through the beautiful towns of Narkanda & Sarahan before entering the spectacular Kinnaur Valley.
Before entering Kalpa at 7500 feet, you might catch a glimpse of the famous Kinnaur Kailash Peak – said to be the summer adobe of Lord Shiva while it’s covered in snow. Suicide Point
at Roghi, the beautiful Reckong Peo town are some of the most amazing places to see here. (Breakfast + Dinner Included)
DAY 4
After a comfortable night’s rest at Kalpa, we set off on the famous Hindustan-Tibet Highway. Famed for its spectacular views and proximity to Tibet, making our stop at Khab, the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej rivers which you will be easily able to differentiate the color of & then Nako, the last hamlet of Kinnaur district famous for its frozen Lake & by evening we reach Kaza - the Headquaters of Spiti. (Overnight stay in Homestay at Kaza & Breakfast + Dinner Included)
DAY 5
We begin the day, with a drive to renowned Key Monastery. The car will first stop at the base of the monastery hill for the ultimate photo With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, the Key Monastery situated at a height of 13,668 feet.
Visit Hikkim - Langza - Komic Sightseeing of Spiti Valley with round over Snow in the Valley,we drive to Hikkim where we visit the world’s highest post office in the world & later to Chicham Bridge. (Overnight stay in Homestay at Kaza & Breakfast + Dinner Included).
DAY 6
We begin exploring Kaza Market to buy some souvenirs. Hop onto our tempoo. We Drive off from Kaza in the afternoon & Visit Dhankar Monestary (another beautiful monastery in Spiti
region) & take a pit stop at scenic Spiti river viewpoint. Reach Tabo by evening (Overnight Stay at Tabo & Breakfast + Dinner Included)
DAY 7
Waking up to the Snow Clad Mountains from Tabo post breakfast we explore the UNESCO Tabo Monestery. We depart from Spiti Valley & enter Kinnaur Valley again crossing beautiful towns like Pooh, Spello finally on our way to Sangla. (Overnight in Hotel & B + D Included)
DAY 8
Morning we proceed to Chitkul there lies the last inhabited place in India before the Indo-Tibet border named Chitkul. The magical beauty which this village offers is unmatched
and incomparable. Chitkul sometimes remains closed in winters. If it is closed we will visit Rakcham.(Overnight stay, B+D)
DAY 9
The last leg of this Winter Expedition is here.Post breakfast we visit famous Bhimakali Temple and later we drive to the beautiful City of Chandigarh with a bag of delightful memories and exciting stories to recount. Go out for a sight seeing in the pleasure evening. Reach Chandigarh & check in at our hotel for freshen up & proceed to Chandigarh railway station (B + D Included)
The new year batches will enjoy an overnight stay in Chandigarh, while the other batches will have a five-hour rest in the hotel before heading to the railway station.
DAY 10
Entire day journey in train with passing the time by chit chatting and playing cards and fun ;). Train no. 12626/12450/12910
DAY 11
Arrival in Mumbai with Sweet memories and it’s time for farewell.
Pune people will board bus/train from Dadar/Vasai to pune.

1. BALANCE PAYMENT HAS TO CLEARED ATLEAST 15 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TRIP. UPON FAILING TO PAY, YOUR REGISTERATION WILL BE CANCELLED WITHOUT ANY REFUND OR TRANSFER
2. Avoid wearing precious Jewellery while trekking, as Trekkers United won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
3. Swimming in the deep water is strictly prohibited.
4. Mobile connectivity is limited in the area
5. Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed.
6. Cancellation of the trip or of any location due to reasons out of our control like natural calamities or man made incidents like strikes and change in state rules won’t be our responsibility. The participants will be liable to bear cost on any such incidents.
7. The company vehicle will only be responsible for travel from stay to the locations and back to our stays. Any travel beyond that will be chargeable if we are managing it for you all.
8. Sightseeing of all the places depends on various factors like weather, train delay, vehicle breakdown, punctuality of everyone, peak season rush & we or any of our team member will not be responsible.
9. If Train tickets are in RAC/Waiting, there will be extra charge of 600 - 800/- per person & 90% guarantee of the confirmed Tatkal Tickets.
10. Mode of Transport like Train/Bus Etc can be changed with change in time & boarding/dropping point depending on the availibility without any prior notice to Participants

- It is a offbeat trip with little adventures throughout the Journey.
Q2) What is the Group Size?
- Group size is usually around 15 - 20(For New Year batch group size will be 25 to 28)
Q3) What is the Age Group for this Trip?
- 16 - 36 Yrs Only
Q4. I am a solo female wanting to Join, is it safe?
- Yes we always have 25% Female Solo Travelers/Trekkers onboard & you will have an amazing experience.
Q5. When to Book this Trip?
- If you are planning to join us from Mumbai/Pune, Book it well in advance because usually Train Tickets are not available
Q6. What will be the daytime and night temperature?
- During day time the temperature will be around 0° to 5° and during night it will fall down -10° to -5°

- Pickup - 2pm Chandigarh Railway station on Day 2

Q9. Do you provide Jain Food?
A. Yes we provide Jain food but options will be very limited & available only for Breakfast & Dinner. For lunch please carry your own snacks.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Before 45 Days - 50% Refund on the Registration amount.
45 - 30 Days - No Refund on Registration
30 - 20 Days - 25% Refund on Full Amount
20 - 10 Days - 10% Refund on Full Amount
After 10 Days - No Refund
1. Cancellation charge is applied on total trip cost, not on any partial or token amounts. E.g. if you paid 10,000 for a 25000 trip, 2 months in advance and decide to cancel a trip less than 30 days before trip start date, the cancellation charge will be applied on 25000, not 10,000.
2. Full Payment of the trip cost must be completed 30 before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the cancellation of the trip.
3. None of the amount is transferrable to any other trip or treks & no credit notes will be given.
4. If the Trip is cancelled from our end, Minimal 7% amount will be deducted & for the remaining amount a Credit Note will be Provided to use on any
other Treks & Trips.(No Cash Refund)
5. In Case of Trip Extension due to Weather or any unforseen conditions, Indivdual will have to pay 2500/- Cash Per Day to the Trip Leader on Spot.

12. The photos/videos content created on Trekkers United’s trip (by our leaders) is the property of Trekkers United and can only be used by us for advertising across media platforms. None of the digital content can be used by anyone for advertising/commercialuse without obtaining the rightful permissions by Trekkers United.
13. The IDs shall all be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without avalid Govt. ID.
14. Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings. The management shall not be responsible for any damage or any missing items along the tour.
15. Our time of departure is fixed and the travelers must depart by the stated time & keep their status updated with the trip coordinator(s). Anyone missing the transport shall not be eligible for any refunds.
16. In case of injury/illness occurring to a participant during the tour, external evacuation/ transport services may need to be engaged safeguarding the health of the participant. In such a case any additional cost arising from making such arrangements will have to be borne by the concerned participant/participant’s family.
17. Only one offer or credit can be used at a time; multiple offers or credits cannot be combined simultaneously.
